Greetings St. Augustine Family,
Today, the last Sunday in Ordinary Time marks the celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. This feast proclaims Christ's royalty over individuals, families, society, governments, and nations. The liturgy of Mass underlines the titles for Jesus' royalty: 1) Christ is God, the Creator of the universe; "All things were created by Him"; 2) Christ is our Redeemer, He purchased us by His precious Blood, and made us His property and possession; 3) Christ is Head of the Church, "holding in all things the primacy"; 4) God bestowed upon Christ the nations of the world as His special possession and dominion.
The bulletin is on break today and will be forwarded on Tuesday! However, you do not have to miss out on Father Pat's Sermon Notes. Kindly download the attachment below to read more about 'Being Disciples of Christ the King!' Thank you for your understanding.
