YOUNG ADULT SUMMER SPORTS LEAGUE
There's still time to join the YA sports league! It's a great way to meet other young adults in the Madison Catholic community!
Here are the basic details:
1. The league runs at Holy Name Heights (formerly the Bishop O'Connor Center) on Madison's west side, from June 5th to August 14th (with a wrap-up celebration on August 28th). The sports are football, ultimate frisbee, soccer, softball and kickball.
2. For registration, each person will need to sign a waiver. The cost to participate is $10 to turn in the first game they attend. Anybody who plays in more than one game should be paying the fee. The fee covers field maintenance and the end-of-year celebration.
There will be teams from several different parishes; if you are a Cathedral parishioner - or want to be one :) - please contact one of the captains, Rhiannon Buehler (deportes.catedral@gmail.com) or Melissa Helt (mel86smurf@yahoo.com), to register for one of the TWO Cathedral teams! And make sure to wear a green shirt to the games!

Wanted - Female Roommate
Two lovely, sweet and faithful Catholic women are seeking a third housemate from July onwards. (I, the writer, got a new job in Illinois so I am permanently leaving Madison over the summer - I could even be out by mid-June if you want!)
The current cost of rent is around $455.00. The available room and apartment are both spacious and well-lit by many windows. The apartment is in the Les Chateaux complex (website with pictures: leschateaux.jsmproperties.com), right next to Quarry Park Forest and right across the road from Hoyt Park Forest, both of which have beautiful nature and hiking trails.
The rest of the neighborhood is also safe, quiet and beautiful; Hilldale Shopping Mall is within walking distance, and the University and Hospital of Wisconsin-Madison are both within 5 minutes' drive. So it combines the best of both worlds!
