Dates for Confirmation

Based on the feedback given to me through our survey and based on the schedule of activities in the parish, we have elected to reschedule the dates for Confirmation based on the criteria of having fewer dates and fewer attendees. The following celebrations will be held for the following groupings.

Saturday, February, 20, 2020 - 9:00am -- Students of Mrs. Eley’s Cohort – Saint Andrew School

Saturday, February, 27, 2020 - 9:00am -- Students of Mrs. McDowell’s Cohort – Saint Andrew School

Saturday, March 13, 2020 - 9:00am – Students from Religious Education.

Since these dates are assigned with our cohort system in mind, we do not have the capacity to switch dates for individual candidates.

For these Masses, each candidate will be allowed no more than an additional 4 people to attend the Mass (a total of 5 people). This must include the Confirmation Sponsor. Everyone else is encouraged to watch the live stream of the Mass which will be provided.

Please be reminded that while our measures for celebrating Mass are in line with national, state, and local health advisories, we do not want to apply any undue pressure to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at this time in your child’s life. There is nothing wrong with choosing to delay the celebration of the sacrament until the pandemic has passed or a more suitable time for your family arrives. We will make every arrangement that we can to support at timeline that works for you.
