Thank you to everyone for your patience and efforts with this week's virtual learning. I know each teacher created her own schedule, plans, and meeting times. Hopefully they were successful. If, as a parent, you have any general comments, please let me know. If they are specific to a teacher, please reach out to her directly. From what I have heard, the students did an awesome job. I know my 6th grade ELA class was amazing!!
My hope is that we don't have to go virtual again this year, but the entire COVID situation is fluid and it could happen on any given day. Because of this uncertainty, we will be sending home Chromebooks on Friday, December 18 as a precaution for the week after Christmas break. I will monitor the situation between Christmas and New Years and notify you as soon as possible if any schedule changes need to take place. I don't anticipate it, but it is a possibility.
Please remember to report all testing and quarantine information to the office. We are required to track them each day.
The new CDC guidelines will help with the quarantine process. If you are a close contact and get tested on days 5-7 after contact with a negative result and no symptoms, you can return after seven (7) days. If there is no test, and no symptoms, you may return after 10 days. This is shortened from 10/14 respectively.
Lastly, I'd like to thank Hoff Christmas Trees for our beautiful tree in the school lobby.
Have a great weekend AND I WILL SEE YOU ALL ON MONDAY!
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM RECORDING - MONDAY, DEC 7TH WE WILL BE RECORDING OUR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM DURING TECH TIME IN EACH CLASS. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS UP FOR THE DAY, SIMILAR TO WHAT THEY WOULD WEAR TO THE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM. IF THEY CANNOT DRESS UP, PLEASE HAVE THEM WEAR A SOLID RED OR GREEN SHIRT WITH UNIFORM BOTTOMS. THE HOPE IS THAT IT WILL BE READY TO SHARE WITH ALL OF YOU BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK.
