Parish Family,
I am following up on my "Why We Confess" completion bible study poll from November 20th...
We will be moving forward with these sessions! Thank you for your participation in the poll! If you didn't participate in the poll, you are still invited and encouraged to join us at any session!
If you have never participated in one of our bible studies in the past, this is a great way to give it a trial run! We will only be meeting for two weeks!
Monday evening sessions will be December 7th and 14th starting at 6:30pm and concluding at 8pm in the church. Please see further instructions below.
Thursday morning sessions from 8:50am-10:20am on December 10th and 17th in Emmaus Hall.
Before each meeting, you are invited to complete the 3 homework questions for each session. They are on page 23 for session 7 and page 25 for session 8.
See the link below. Completing the homework ahead of time improves the small group discussion time and enhances everyone's experience at the bible study. However, homework is optional. You are encouraged to participate in small group regardless of whether you have completed the 3 questions for each session.
We will be covering session 7 on December 7th and 10th. And we will be covering session 8 on December 14th and 17th. As always, the Thursday session is the same as the Monday session. You only need attend one session a week.
The schedule for each session will be as follows:
1st 10 minutes- Opening topical video and opening prayer.
25 minutes of small group discussion on the questions.
5 minute transition time.
40 minute videos
10 minute closing questions/remarks with Fr. Andrew and final blessing.
If you are only interested in watching the videos, you should arrive before 7:10pm on Monday and before 9:30am on Thursdays. Or, you can watch the video beginning at 10:10am on Sundays, December 13th and 20th in the church between Masses.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon at bible study!
