Advent Lucernarium:
During the season of Advent, we invite you to take some time apart from the busyness of the season to prepare your hearts to welcome the Light of Christ at Christmas!
Sunday evenings at 6:30 - 7:00 pm join us in church for the
celebration of Evening Prayer.
Lucernarium, the evening service of light, has an ancient history dating to before the 6th century. Candles are lit and the Light of light – for Whom the Season of Advent prepares us – is praised in prayer and song.

- Wednesday (Dec 2, 9, 16 & 23) from 4-5:15pm (Dec 23 also 6:30-7:30pm)

As you’ve seen in the bulletin, we are in need of a great number of volunteers right now. Of most urgent need are Ushers and working with the Live Stream.
USHERS - WE NEED YOU!
We are in Need of an Usher Coordinator and Additional Members to serve in this Ministry. Open to Men, Women, & Teens of the Parish.
We really need Ushers who can help seat people with appropriate social distancing, and assist at Christmas Masses.

Need some people willing to be trained on how to operate the livestream camera (a work still in progress). We are developing a new Parish On-Line Streaming Service and are need of volunteers to help with

Women’s Care Center York
Giving (w/o Tree) during Advent.
Due to Covid we will not be using a tree this year. However, Please help our Moms and Babies by taking a paper ornament off the Glass Walls in the Narthex (back of Church) and purchasing the gift on the ornament and placing the gift, unwrapped, in the back corner of the Church, in box next to door going to Rectory by December 20th. This collection allows us to get beautiful and much needed baby items into the hands of Moms and Babies we serve. Thank you - As we celebrate our 30th Year of helping our expectant mothers.
NOT ADOPT A FAMILY
As in many past years, I would like our parish to help those in need to have a little for Christmas. It may not be a family as we have seniors and singles who would benefit. Any money or gift cards can be marked “Adopt a Family” or Sister Monica. It will be used only for our parishioners. If you know anyone from the parish who is in need of help, please give me the names.
