The growing of cattle is energy intensive, and meat-to-table production is energy intensive all the way from farm to table. It involves manufacturing, packaging, extensive transportation, and meal preparation. Consider as well all the methane the anmials release during their lives.

Try to cut back on meat, even a little bit, and add more fruits, vegetables, and legumes to your diet. You will be eating healthier and helping the environment.
